LL.M. Columbia University Law School (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar). Lawyer. Degree in Legal and Social Sciences from Universidad de Los Andes.

Her practice focuses on regulatory electrical matters and the development of energy projects. She has several years of experience advising commercial banks, international financing institutions and sponsors in the financing of energy and infrastructure projects, including the negotiation of power purchase agreements, connection agreements and others related with the development of energy projects, especially renewable energies.

She has advised clients in proceedings before the Ministry of Energy, the National Energy Commission, the Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels and the Comptroller General of the Republic; in discrepancies before the Panel of Experts on electrical matters and in claims before the superior courts of justice against resolutions of the Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels. She previously worked in the Energy and Infrastructure group at Clifford Chance (Washington DC, United States) and in the Energy and Regulated Markets group at Philippi, Prietocarrizosa, Ferrero DU & Uría. She was also Of Counsel and then Senior Associate at Quintanilla Busel Niedmann from January 2019 to May 2020.
