Master’s in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Master’s in Regulation from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Lawyer. Degree in Law and Social Sciences from Universidad de Chile.
Her practice of more than 10 years in regulated markets, with special emphasis in the energy industry, has been developed in both the private and public sectors.
She has advised electric power transmission and generation companies, especially non-conventional renewable energy, in the different regulatory processes of the industry, such as qualification of transmission facilities, tariff processes, transmission planning and energy supply tenders for regulated customers.
Likewise, she has represented electricity power transmission and generation companies in discrepancies before the Panel of Experts on regulatory, tariff and transmission planning matters; as well as in civil lawsuits and claims before State Administration bodies, such as the Comptroller General of the Republic and the Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels.
She participated in the design and elaboration of the first technical standards regulating the distribution segment and participated in regulated processes led by the National Energy Commission, such as distribution tariff processes, energy supply tenders for regulated customers and the draft of technical standards.
She previously worked in the Energy and Telecommunication areas at FerradaNehme; in Quintanilla Busel Niedmann; in the National Energy Commission; in the State Railway Company; and, in Energie Fern Consulting.
