She has over nine years of experience in energy regulation, energy policy analysis, legal practice, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams in the Chilean electricity sector.

She served as Regulatory Policy Coordinator at Chile’s Ministry of Energy, where she designed and implemented energy policy strategies, led cross-sectoral consensus-building processes, and coordinated regulatory initiatives that achieved unanimous approval in the National Congress. She was an attorney at the National Energy Commission, overseeing critical regulatory policy projects, leading the vertical disintegration policy for distribution companies, and representing the agency before the Competition Court. She also worked as Legal and Regulatory Deputy Manager at EVOL, and as an associate attorney at Carey and at Quintanilla & Busel Niedmann.

She has regularly advised electricity companies on project finance, power purchase agreements, tariff processes, electricity supply tenders, and disputes before the Electricity Sector Expert Panel.

She served as Teaching Assistant at Columbia University for the courses Energy Markets and Innovation, Fundamentals of Energy Systems, and Leadership in Crisis. She is the author of the most-read research paper in 2021 for the Competition Center at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez on challenges in electricity regulation. She has been a speaker at national and international forums including Berkeley Global Society, World Energy Council, and Data Center Dynamics.
